PA Veterans Guide: This is a list of programs, benefits, and services for veterans and their families that was put together by the Governor’s Advisory Council on Veterans Services in an effort to increase the availability of information about services.

Service Dogs for Veterans: Veteran Service Canines is an organization that operates out of York, Pennsylvania. They provide service dogs for military veterans, law enforcement, and first responders who have emotional or physical injuries.

Veterans Campuses with a PTSD Clinical Team: All VA hospitals offer PTSD care, however there are three VA Medical Centers in PA that have specialized programs for PTSD. One in Coatesville, one is Philadelphia and one in Lebanon. All three programs are outpatient programs.

VA Centers with Substance Use Disorder Programs: This is a list of VA centers in PA that have Substance Use Disorder care. However, VA Medical Centers not on this list will still offer treatment, they just may not have a specific program. The Corporal Michael J. Cresenz VA Medical Center has a program specifically geared towards opioid use.

Outpatient Counseling for Substance Abuse/Misuse:

Sobriety Solutions: They Offer DBT groups, individual therapy, and family therapy.

 

Renew Family Services: They offer Medically Assisted Treatment, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, EMDR, and Dance and Movement Therapy.
