A Failure of Indoctrination (2020)
My first play. Set in Poland, it follows an Army therapist working with soldiers during a deployment. The play is both funny and tragic and examines military culture, institutional failure and moral injury. Mental health professionals will recognize accurate depictions of confidentiality constraints, suicide risk assessment, PTSD and C-PTSD, substance misuse diagnostics, marital counseling and chronic sleep deprivation.
Video Game Addiction 101 (2019)
Co-written with Andrew Walsh. A clinical and cultural examination of video game use and misuse. The book covers the history of gaming, international perspectives (South Korea, Japan, China, Thailand), diagnostic criteria, treatment considerations and a recovery narrative. Written for clinicians, educators and parents.
